Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ - حَسِبْتُهُ قَالَ مُتَعَمِّدًا - فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ
.
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever tells lies about me', I (the narrator) think that he also said 'deliberately', let him take his place in Hell.'"
