Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، وَجَابِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ خَنْبَشٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حِجَّةً
.
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Wahb bin Khanbash that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“ ‘Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj (i.e. in reward).”
