حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا مَعْبَدٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ إِنِّي اكْتُتِبْتُ فِي غَزْوَةِ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَامْرَأَتِي حَاجَّةٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏

‏ فَارْجِعْ مَعَهَا ‏

Translation

English translation

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:

“A Bedouin came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: ‘I have enlisted for such and such a military campaign and my wife is going for Hajj.’ He said: ‘Go back with her.’”
