Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ شِبَاكٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هُنَىِّ بْنِ نُوَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
إِنَّ أَعَفَّ النَّاسِ قِتْلَةً أَهْلُ الإِيمَانِ
.
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“The most decent people in killing are the people of faith.”
