Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُسْتَمِرِّ الْعُرُوقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَازِبٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
لاَ قَوَدَ إِلاَّ بِالسَّيْفِ

Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Nu'man bin Bashir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“There is no retaliation except with the sword.”
