Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
لاَ قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلاَ كَثَرٍ
.
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees.”
