Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

‏ لاَ يُقْطَعُ الْخَائِنُ وَلاَ الْمُنْتَهِبُ وَلاَ الْمُخْتَلِسُ ‏

‏ ‏.‏

Translation

English translation

It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“The hand of the one who betrays a trust, the robber and the pilferer is not to be cut off”.
