Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ
لاَ بَأْسَ الْحَيَوَانُ بِالْحَيَوَانِ وَاحِدًا بِاثْنَيْنِ يَدًا بِيَدٍ
. وَكَرِهَهُ نَسِيئَةً .
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"There is nothing wrong with selling animals, one for two, hand to hand," but he disliked selling them on credit.
