Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
كَسْرُ عَظْمِ الْمَيِّتِ كَكَسْرِهِ حَيًّا
.
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Breaking the bones of the deceased is like breaking his bones when he is alive.”
