حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ نَبْهَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ يَقْظَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الأَسْقَعِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
صَلُّوا عَلَى كُلِّ مَيِّتٍ وَجَاهِدُوا مَعَ كُلِّ أَمِيرٍ
.
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Wathilah bin Asqa’ that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
‘Offer prayer for everyone who dies, and strive in Jihad under every chief.”
