Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْعِيدِ مَاشِيًا وَيَرْجِعُ مَاشِيًا ‏.‏

Translation

English translation

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to go out to the ‘Eid prayers walking, and come back walking.”
