About

The root word of this Attribute is `izz, might, power, strength, victory, elevation, non-submission. Al-`Aziz is the One Who Alone has all honour; He is never humiliated, nor is He ever wronged; neither imagination nor intellect can ever conceive Him. He is the One Who cannot be overcome or in any way harmed, the One Who has no peer nor a similitude, Who is very much needed, Who is victorious and is never vanquished, the Mighty, the Omnipotent Who can never be reached. The Messenger of Allah used to say, "I seek refuge with Your Honour, for You are the One Who is the One and Only God Who never dies, while the jinns and men die."

Al Aziz In The Quran

Indeed I am Allah, the All-mighty, the All-wise.’ When We sent to them two [apostles], they impugned both of them. Then We reinforced them with a third, and they said, ‘We have indeed been sent to you.’ If You punish them, they are indeed Your creatures; but if You forgive them, You are indeed the All-mighty, the All-wise.’ To Him belongs all supremacy in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise. They say, ‘When we return to the city, the mighty will surely expel the weak from it.’ Yet all might belongs to Allah and His Apostle and the faithful, but the hypocrites do not know. Clear is your Lord, the Lord of Might, of whatever they allege [concerning Him]. He said, ‘By Your might, I will surely pervert them, Saad : 82
