Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: كَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ فِضَّةٍ.
Translation
English translation
Sa'id ibn Abi’l-Hasan al-Basri said:
“The pommel of the sword of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was made of silver."
