Original Arabic

أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، وَقَدْ كَانَ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

‏ مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الإِزَارِ فَفِي النَّارِ ‏

‏ ‏.‏

Translation

English translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that :

The Prophet (ﷺ) [ﷺ] said: "Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire."
