Original Arabic
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، يَقُولُ نَهَانِي نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْخَاتَمِ فِي السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى .
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Abu Burdah said:
"I heard 'Ali say: 'The Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah [ﷺ] forbade me to wear a ring on the forefinger and middle finger.'"
